Effective hiring is paramount for business growth and success, and understanding the differences between start-ups and scale-ups can guide us in forming robust hiring strategies.
During this workshop you will:
- Understand the challenges of hiring for start-ups and scale ups, emphasising the characteristics to look for in potential candidates.
- How to use the various tools and channels to attract talent and how they differ in each company’s stage of development, including the use of AI to attract talent.
- Employee Value Proposition – what is it and how and when to deploy
- How to maintain the values and vision of your business as it grows
About Your Speaker
Russell White, Director, Future Work
Russell is a veteran of the recruitment industry having started in 1983. Russell began recruiting for the marketing and advertising industry in 1986 and has worked with all the major advertising networks as well as the majority of FTSE 250 companies. This work led him to establish one of the first teams to specialise in ecommerce and data hires in London and latterly AI. He has also worked as Head of Talent Acquisition for a sizeable CRM agency, building a team of account handlers, database and data specialists and latterly helped create the first official guide on AI in Hiring and made recommendations that have been adopted in the Artificial Intelligence (Regulation) Bill November 2023, currently going through its Second Reading in the House of Commons.
