Age UK is the UK’s largest charity working with older people. They provide essential advice and support to those over 50. They enable independence and combat loneliness.
Age UK needed to grow their Home Support and Care Service in Norfolk. After two years of trading, sales had stagnated and growth had plateaued, they needed to quickly increase sales of the service in order to help fund their vital charitable work .
How We Helped
Through the discovery session at the very beginning of the project, we discovered that the decision makers were the sons and daughters of older people, rather than the older person themselves. With this in mind we developed a campaign that focused around the idea of families sharing the best of times together.
With this new found, younger demographic, we were also able to roll the campaign out through a multi-channel digital marketing strategy that included SEO, content marketing, info-graphics and conversion rate optimisation.
We designed a new website optimised for search engines, user experience, and increased conversion rates. To raise awareness for the service, we created and directed an online video, produced a series of radio commercials and managed an online re-marketing campaign.
Unique website visits increased 44% and website conversions increased 188% in the first six months. This led to an overall increase in sales of 100% during the same period.
